Team Vitality won the MWI 2026 grand final on Saturday, beating Natus Vincere 4-2 in a best-of-seven series at the Esports World Cup in Paris. The result gives the Indonesian roster back-to-back titles, and it settles a rivalry that has been building since 2024.
The match closed out the MLBB Women International, which Moonton renamed this year from the MLBB Women Invitational. The event also left the Middle East for the first time. Riyadh hosted the 2024 and 2025 editions, while this one ran from July 14 to 18 at Paris Expo Porte de Versailles, on the same site as the rest of the Esports World Cup.

Their one defeat came in between. Smart Omega Empress beat Vitality 3-0 in the 2024 final and ended a 24-match winning run along the way. Natus Vincere signed that Philippine roster in May 2025, which made Saturday a rematch in everything but the jersey.

The viewing figures grew alongside the stakes. Moonton reported a peak of 565,526 concurrent viewers, up from 496,995 at the 2025 edition, plus 5,070,965 hours watched and an average of 129,472 viewers. That peak arrived during the Vitality and Natus Vincere final itself.
Where people watched says just as much. Four of the five most-watched channels were TikTok broadcasts, which suits a mobile game far better than the desktop habits of older esports.
Vitality took $150,000 for the win and Natus Vincere earned $90,000, from a placement pool of roughly $500,000. Geltek Cyber Team finished third and Galaxy Phoenix came fourth. Sixteen teams reached Paris through open qualifiers across more than 60 regions, including Western Europe for the first time, and organisers added a twist this year by letting upper-bracket teams pick their next opponent.
