The TEAM VISION run at TI 2026 keeps getting better. They have now beaten Team Spirit for the second time at The International, sending the two-time champions into the lower bracket and moving one step closer to the Grand Final.

The latest meeting ended 2-1, with Spirit fighting back after losing Game 1 before VISION closed the series in the deciding map. The result guarantees VISION at least a Top 3 finish and sends the two-time Dota 2 champions into the lower bracket. What makes this even more impressive is that VISION still have not lost a series at TI 2026.

TEAM VISION Have Beaten Spirit Twice at the Same TI

The first meeting happened during the Group Stage. Both teams entered that match with perfect records, but VISION swept Spirit 2-0 and became the first team to secure a direct place in the Playoffs.

Spirit had a chance to get revenge in the upper-bracket semifinal. This time they made the series much closer, but the result was still the same. VISION won again. That makes it hard to call the first result a bad day for Spirit. TEAM VISION have now beaten one of the most successful Dota 2 teams at this event twice under very different conditions.

The Group Stage match was about seeding. The playoff rematch was about staying in the upper bracket and getting within one series of the Grand Final. VISION handled both.

They Are Still Unbeaten Despite Saying They Were Not at Their Best

This is where No[o]ne’s comments from earlier in the tournament become very interesting. Before this playoff win, No[o]ne said he felt the team was only playing at around 60–70% of its full level. He explained that TI brings extra pressure because opponents punish mistakes much harder, while players can also become more careful because they do not want to throw away an important game.

He also singled out Satanic’s form. According to No[o]ne, the young carry had been playing at an incredible level and was one of the biggest reasons VISION were getting results even while the team still felt it had room to improve.

That comment looks even more dangerous now. VISION are already unbeaten. They have already beaten Team Falcons, BoomBoys and Team Spirit. They have already secured Top 3.

And their own midlaner was saying they had not even reached their best Dota yet. If VISION really do have another level, the rest of the bracket may have a serious problem.

Satanic Is Giving VISION Something Special

Satanic has been one of the biggest stories of TI 2026. He is young, but he is not playing like someone experiencing his first serious run at the Aegis. VISION are giving him the space and farm he needs, and he has repeatedly turned that into strong late-game performances.

What makes the team dangerous is that it is not only about Satanic. No[o]ne brings years of top-level Dota experience in the mid lane, while Noticed, 9Class and Dukalis have been doing the work that allows the cores to play comfortably.

That balance is why VISION have survived difficult series without looking completely dependent on one player. Even when a game goes wrong, they have shown they can reset and come back in the next one. That happened against Spirit. They lost Game 2 but did not let that change the series.

Spirit Are Still Alive, but Their Road Is Much Harder

Team Spirit are not out of TI 2026. They now drop into the lower bracket, where they will face BoomBoys in an elimination match. That means every series from this point is do-or-die. Spirit still have more than enough experience to make a long run. Yatoro, Collapse and the rest of the roster know what it takes to win The International, and nobody will want to meet them in an elimination series.

But the situation is completely different now. VISION still have the safety of the upper bracket. Spirit do not. That advantage becomes very important this late in the tournament.

VISION Are One Win Away From the Grand Final

The win over Spirit guarantees TEAM VISION at least a Top 3 finish and puts them into the upper-bracket final. Their next opponent will come from the other side of the bracket.

That means VISION are now only one series win away from reaching the TI 2026 Grand Final without dropping into the lower bracket at any point. That is a huge position to be in. They entered The International as one of the favorites, but being called a favorite before a tournament is very different from proving it on stage.

VISION have done that. They went undefeated through the Group Stage. They beat Spirit 2-0. They beat BoomBoys in the playoffs. Then they met Spirit again and won 2-1 when the pressure was much higher.

At this point, the conversation around TEAM VISION has changed. They are not simply one of the teams that could win TI 2026. They are starting to look like the team everyone else may have to beat.
