Mistfall Hunter has reached one million players in its first week after launch. Its new Mistfall Hunter roadmap also shows what is coming next.
Bellring Games confirmed the number while sharing plans for the game’s first two seasons. The dark fantasy extraction RPG launched on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X|S at the end of July.
The game is also available through Game Pass. Bellring has not said how the one million players are split between platforms, so there is no way to know how many came from the service.
One million players is a strong start for a new multiplayer game. It means more people are available for matches while the game finds its feet.

What the Mistfall Hunter roadmap adds
Bellring is giving players free items to mark the milestone. The in-game mailbox has a Spellcasting standing pose, five Moonlight Nectars and combat bags. Players can claim them until August 12.
The bigger news is a solo mode for Brandrgarde. It will arrive in the middle of Season 1 in September for both Normal and Cataclysm difficulty.
Players had been asking to play the map alone. Until then, Mistfall Hunter’s extraction gameplay makes every trip into the world risky. Players need to escape with the gear they find, and dying can mean losing it.

Bellring says the rest of Season 1 will add seasonal tasks, an Underworld speed challenge, a Golden Woodling enemy and an Ancestor Tree event. Season 2 will bring more content and a Javelin weapon for Blackarrow.
The developer update does not give dates for every update. Bellring can still change the plan as it gets more feedback.
Why the player total matters
A large launch audience gives Bellring more room to add new ways to play. Separate solo queues can split players across more match types. That is easier to manage when a game has plenty of people looking for matches.

The player total is only the start. Multiplayer extraction games need players to keep coming back after the first few weeks.
The solo mode is a clear answer to one request from the community. The roadmap also gives players new reasons to return during the first season.
Bellring has brought one million people through the door. The next challenge is giving them a reason to stay.
