Xbox players have a fresh batch of Xbox Free Games to try this weekend, but several of them are only available for a limited time.
Microsoft’s latest Free Play Days lineup is here, while Game Pass has also added Monsters Are Coming! and PowerWash Simulator 2.
That gives Xbox players a fairly packed weekend, especially if they want to try something new without buying it first.
Xbox Free Games Include Ghost Recon and NBA 2K26
Ghost Recon Wildlands and Ghost Recon Breakpoint are both free to play through August 10.
Wildlands is especially worth checking out right now because Ubisoft recently brought players back with its latest update, making this a good chance to revisit Bolivia without paying upfront.
NBA 2K26 gets a slightly longer free period and will remain available through August 14.
There are also smaller trials available, including Wax Heads, while Sports Renovations is available for eligible Game Pass members during the promotion.
These offers are temporary, so players interested in any of them will need to jump in before the free access ends.
Game Pass Adds Even More Games for the Weekend
Alongside the temporary Xbox Free Games, Game Pass has also received two new additions.
Monsters Are Coming! mixes roguelite combat with tower-defense mechanics, putting players in charge of protecting a moving city from waves of enemies.
PowerWash Simulator 2 is a much calmer option, giving players more locations to clean, new equipment, and another excuse to spend hours washing virtual dirt away.
Together, the Free Play Days lineup and new Game Pass additions make this one of the busier Xbox weekends in recent weeks.
