The Final Rift Looks Like a Bridge Between Old and New Assassin’s Creed
The Final Rift was not part of the original Black Flag.
It was added in Resynced, and that gives Ubisoft room to connect Edward Kenway’s story with the wider series in ways the 2013 game never could.
The sequence appears to move through important parts of Assassin’s Creed history before ending with a possible Hexe reference.
That does not confirm a new trailer, release date, or gameplay reveal.
But it does suggest Ubisoft is already starting to bring Hexe into the wider Assassin’s Creed story.
