There’s no denying that Marvel’s Wolverine is one of the most amazing games worth playing today. It’s that type of game that many people think comes with a brutal Platinum trophy. But what if we told you that’s never the case for Wolverine? Yes, Marvel’s Wolverine Platinum trophy is straightforward and this post will help you understand exactly how to achieve it in a few steps.
Overall, the game has 42 trophies, and the good news is you can earn the Platinum within 20 hours if you follow the right approach. Keep reading to discover everything you need to know.
Is Marvel’s Wolverine Platinum Trophy Difficult to Earn?
According to industry experts, the Platinum comes with an estimated trophy difficulty of 2/10. The Platinum is easy to achieve because playing the game doesn’t require you to master its combat system before earning any trophies.
No doubt, the game has some difficulty levels but they certainly don’t affect trophies. This is possible because you can always play and earn Marvel’s Wolverine Platinum trophy on the easiest difficulty level—The Man. Furthermore, no trophy requires you to finish the game on a higher difficulty level. This allows you to focus more on enjoying the game instead of struggling with a difficulty level.

How many trophies can you win?
In total, you can earn 42 trophies, which include:
- 1 Platinum
- 4 Gold
- 9 Silver
- 28 Bronze
As soon as you collect every other trophy, the Platinum trophy automatically unlocks.
How to earn Marvel’s Wolverine Platinum trophy?
Below are a few straightforward steps to achieving the Platinum trophy today:
Step 1: Play through the story
If you want an easy way out, we recommend playing through the game’s story while keeping an eye out for collectibles. The good thing about Wolverine is that many of its trophies are linked directly to its story progression. For instance, defeating major enemies comes with certain trophies that move you closer to earning the Platinum. Besides, reaching key points in Logan’s journey also helps you collect more trophies. Also, destroying 100 XP Caches for the Cache Crusher is key.
Furthermore, completing key missions also counts. In all, the game has 30 missions. As long as you play through the story, you can always get the necessary trophies while completing these missions.
Step 2: Collect key items
Collecting the most important items is crucial if you want to get the most out of Wolverine. The good thing is that the game has 102 collectibles, which include:
- 14 Nightmare Doors
- 20 Whisky Bottles
- 68 Material Crates
You can locate these collectibles easily by turning on the shader accessibility setting. You can do this by navigating through Settings > Visuals > Collectibles and Interact Shaders.
One thing you should know is that most trophies are directly linked to these collectibles. This explains why collecting these items is very important. You certainly need the Material Crates to craft suits. Interestingly, you need to craft 20 standard suits to earn the Adamantium Armory Gold trophy.
Step 3: Getting perfect Nightmare Trial scores matters
One amazing feature of this game is Nightmare Trials, which come with different ratings. One reason why you need to worry about these ratings is that you need them to achieve the Adamantium Dreams. Getting Adamantium once is all you need in a trial. This means, you can play on The Man (the lowest difficulty level) for other trials.
Step 4: Reaching Player Level 36 is key
As you already know, you need to win every trophy to unlock the Platinum. However, there’s a particular trophy that requires you to reach Player Level 36. Not reaching this level means you can’t get the Platinum.
Is reaching this level difficult? The simple answer is no! If you can complete the story, this should take you up to Level 34 or 36. Earning XP by conquering the enemies and interacting with certain objects also helps.
If after everything, you still don’t meet up, you can try replaying missions with plenty of enemies. Conquering them will earn you more XP necessary to reach the ideal Player level.
Step 5: Get enough Material Crates to craft 20 suits
As mentioned earlier, collectibles like the Material Crates are very important. You need them to craft 20 suits, which is important for unlocking the Adamantium Armory trophy.
The game has a total of 68 Material Crates. Collecting them will give you everything that matters to work on the suits. The standard suits count toward the trophy but the extra DLC suits do not.
Step 6: Some combat actions are necessary
Working naturally on the combat trophies is important if you want to get Marvel’s Wolverine Platinum trophy.
Some actions you’ll certainly need include:
- Reach Rage Tier 3
- Kill 100 enemies using the Helix Claws
- Parry 500 times
- Destroy 100 XP Caches
- Push three enemies out of a plane
The good thing is that you don’t need any complicated setups to achieve the aforementioned actions. Instead, all you need is to use Wolverine’s abilities during play. For instance, you can get 500 parries when you parry your regular attacks. Once the Helix Claws become available, ensure to use the ability regularly. Even if you miss out on the 100 kills after using it regularly, you can always farm the rest through mission replay.
