PS Plus October 2026 Games Add F1 25 and Hunt: Showdown

PS Plus October 2026 Games Add F1 25 and Hunt: Showdown

The PS Plus October 2026 lineup includes F1 25, Hunt: Showdown 1896 and Earth Defense Force: World Brothers 2. Subscribers can add all three from October 6 until November 2. However, PS4 owners will only get one of those games on their console.

Sony confirmed the selection in its September 30 announcement. Sony lists F1 25 and Hunt for PS5. World Brothers 2 includes both PS5 and PS4 versions, making the platform labels worth checking before planning a download.

The three games offer very different ways to spend an evening. There is racing, tense monster hunting and colourful team combat. Meanwhile, if you are returning to another recent release, our Witcher 3 guide covers player-reported workarounds for quiet dialogue.

PlayStation announces F1 25, Hunt: Showdown 1896 and World Brothers 2 as October monthly games

PS Plus October 2026: What Each Game Offers

World Brothers 2 is the option to consider for playing together on the same television. It supports two-player local split screen on both consoles. Alternatively, four people can team up online. That gives it a different role from the other games in this batch.

Its blocky world has giant enemies and soldiers to rescue. Players build a four-person squad from characters they collect, then choose equipment before heading into battle. For readers following PlayStation’s growing multiplayer selection, it adds another way to play with friends.

Hunt: Showdown 1896 takes a more dangerous approach. Players track bosses, collect a bounty and try to escape. However, other hunters can turn that plan into a fight. You can enter alone or bring up to two teammates, so finding a target is only part of the job.

F1 25 offers a change of pace. Career mode and My Team 2.0 give solo players ways to follow the racing season. My Team also puts you in charge as a team owner. Meanwhile, F1 World’s squad mode lets friends race together against computer-controlled drivers.

Claim the Games Before the Window Closes

These are Monthly Games, not a list reserved for the Extra or Premium Game Catalog. Sony’s membership plans include Monthly Games at Essential level too. Playing claimed games still requires an active subscription, so adding them does not provide permanent access without membership.

There is another deadline before October’s selection arrives. Subscribers have until October 5 to claim September’s four games: Sniper Elite: Resistance, MLB The Show 26, Wobbly Life and Chained Echoes. Our September roundup looks at that earlier selection.

Sony also warns that Monthly Games can vary by region. Check your local PlayStation Store when the claim window opens. That is more useful than assuming every account will show exactly the same offer or console version.

October’s choice comes down to what you want to play. F1 25 covers racing, Hunt rewards careful teamwork, and World Brothers 2 brings local split screen. Check your console, add the games you want within the window, and keep the subscription requirement in mind.
