Aniimo progression feels too fast for some players and too slow for others. That sounds strange, but their posts point to a simple reason. They are talking about different parts of the game. Early levels can pass quickly, while later ones take more work.
We saw different views in the Wolverine debate too. Players do not always come away with the same opinion. With Aniimo, it helps to ask one question before comparing their complaints: what level have they reached?
Why Aniimo Progression Can Feel Rushed
In a Reddit discussion, one player said the tests every five levels kept interrupting the fun. Another said earning experience points was not the hard part. They would finish a list of tasks, gain several levels, then face another task list.
That player was not asking for more rewards. They felt the game kept pushing them forward, then making them stop. The repeated reminders also made it harder to relax and play at their own speed.
However, other people in the same thread enjoyed collecting creatures and taking things slowly. These posts show different players’ views. They do not tell us what most Aniimo players think.
The opening hours are only part of a game. A short demo, such as Stellar Blade’s Switch 2 release, can give someone a first look. But it cannot show how a longer game feels many hours later.
Later Levels Bring a Different Complaint
In another Reddit thread, a player said they felt stuck at level 43. They needed level 45 to continue the story. Replies suggested exploring more, doing side quests and checking the Elite Handbook for tasks that give experience points.

So both complaints can make sense. One player gains levels quickly but dislikes stopping for more tasks. Another wants to carry on with the story but cannot level up fast enough. This is also different from a bug that gets a character stuck. These players want to reach the next level sooner. Their posts do not prove a fault in the game.
The change in speed may be the bigger issue. If someone gains early levels quickly, a later slowdown could feel much worse. That is our reading of the posts. We have not tested the leveling speed ourselves.
Players also spend their time differently. Some explore and finish extra tasks. Others focus on the story. Those choices can affect how soon they reach the next level. Before calling Aniimo too fast or too slow, it is worth looking at both stages. A player can enjoy the game and still wish it gave them more control over when to move on.
